Project Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS / Cloud Functional Consultant to support a long-term enterprise transformation and application support program for a major international organization based in Milan. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to optimize and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite processes across multiple business functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a contractor looking for a stable, long-duration engagement in a collaborative international environment. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze business requirements from finance, procurement, supply chain, and operations stakeholders Configure and support Oracle E-Business Suite / Cloud modules based on business needs Lead functional workshops, process mapping sessions, and solution design discussions Prepare functional specifications for customizations, integrations, reports, and enhancements Coordinate with technical teams during development and testing phases Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments Provide day-to-day application support and issue resolution Drive process improvement initiatives and recommend best practices Assist with documentation, training materials, and end-user support Collaborate with global and local teams in a multi-country environment Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS Functional Consultant Strong expertise in one or more Oracle EBS modules, including: Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM) Procurement / Purchasing Order Management Inventory / Supply Chain Experience in full project lifecycle implementations and production support Strong knowledge of business processes and ERP best practices Experience writing functional specifications and managing UAT activities Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Fluent English required; Italian is a strong advantage Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in international or enterprise-scale environments Knowledge of Oracle integrations and reporting tools Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models Oracle certifications are a plus Working Model Hybrid working arrangement based in Milan Long-term assignment with potential extensions Competitive daily rate depending on experience
