This position reports to: Production Engineering Manager Responsibilities In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements. Approving and/or editing the design for processes developed internally or externally, performing final tests with respect to the project and providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources. Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices. Developing sensibility to solutions that best fit with production environment. Investigate and develop innovative production technology introduction, leveraging on Industry 5.0 approach. Qualifications Mechanic, Automation or Mechatronic engineering master degree. Experience in production process design or automation is a plus. It’s requested a very good knowledge of Italian and English, Good knowledge of Office package and knowledge of modelling and simulation programs, knowledge of CAD programs. Familiarity with Programming Languages in particular C# and .NET, familiarity with AI applications e.g. computer vision is a plus. Knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken.
