Job Overview Commis de Cuisine at Splendido Mare, DaV Restaurant, Portofino, part of the LVMH Group. Responsibilities Assist section chefs (Chef de Partie) in preparing ingredients and dishes. Maintain cleanliness and order of the workstation and kitchen. Handle and store food according to HACCP guidelines. Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and high‑quality service. Requirements At least 1 year previous professional experience in a similar role in a luxury environment, or relevant school internships. Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally. Effective communication skills, both verbal and non‑verbal. Emotional intelligence: sensitivity to guests' and colleagues' needs, and ability to adjust style accordingly. Ability to manage own emotions in challenging situations. Adaptability: identify when a different approach is needed and propose solutions. Willingness to try and adopt new methods.
