For an Italian aerospace company specialized in the production of small satellite platforms and innovative space products, we are looking for a Payload Satellite Product Manager . The candidate will take part in the definition of the company's Product roadmap, ensuring the competitiveness of Products under his/her responsibility and supporting their development cycles. Responsabilità As Product Manager , you will contribute to the definition and implementation of the vision, strategy and roadmap of payloads, as well as creating and presenting innovative solutions and decision proposals to the management and stakeholders. This is a great fit for you if a technical role becomes too tight for your vision and you want to translate technology into business and make a repeatable process to fly the payloads on multiple missions. Be responsible for the Earth Observation and telecom payloads’ development for delivering missions on time and supporting company’s business goals; Participate in strategy shaping that drive product development, with particular focus on the payloads; Plan and execute activities oriented in identifying key users' needs and capture market development opportunities; Define product requirements, assist the planning of product design and support the whole development cycles; Prepare and lead the launch of new products/solutions; Monitor market trends, track competitors' products and put strategies in place to highlight potential risks; Review technical documents (Design Description, ICD, Test Procedures, Technical Specifications etc.); Work closely with other teams to execute company’s strategy; Support Sales and Marketing teams and related activities (e.g. support to proposal preparation); Support R&D in the development of new technologies and Engineering in the execution of product development projects; Support product-related publications at relevant conferences and events; Develop long-term relations with partners and potential clients. Profilo Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or related fields; At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, Systems Engineering, Telecom Engineering; Experience in Earth Observation and telecom payloads design and development; Analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving attitude; Excellent written and oral communication in English; Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams; Ability to translate a strategic vision into concrete projects; Solid understanding of product development cycles, from concept definition to market delivery; Strong knowledge of payloads, including Earth Observation and telecom ones; Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the aerospace industry and product domains, with particular focus on small-sats.
