The Role We’re looking for a talented and motivated Civil or Structural Engineer to join ZURU Structworks Group to test our structural analysis module. We are developing a cutting‑edge Structural Analysis Software that leverages Finite Element Method (FEM) to solve linear and nonlinear solid mechanics problems for both static and dynamic configurations. Requirements Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized institution. Good analytical skills and ability to work out creative solutions in a problem‑solving environment. Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment with less supervision. Sound knowledge of commonly used Structural Analysis software solutions such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and other related solutions. Knowledge of structural design methodologies. Basic familiarity with programming constructs (e.g. for/if/while in any language). Nice‑to‑have Knowledge of structural analysis methodologies/dynamic analysis. Knowledge of wind and seismic load generation as per various international loading codes. Key Responsibilities Understand product requirements and prepare test cases, checklists for validation of the software. Act as the Quality Control reference inside an assigned Scrum Team and join all events (Planning, Daily, Review, Retrospective). Support the Product Owner in identifying corner cases and missing requirements. Prepare a hand calculation for the validation of different structural analysis and design‑related modules. Design and execute functional testing on the software product incrementally. Verify iteratively that functionality does not degrade. Detect, document, report, and assess the encountered bugs. Work with developers to identify use cases that must be automated. Provide strong technical leadership with a focus on continuous improvement. €26,000 - €34,000 a year What we offer ⌛️ Flex Time: you can decide when to work from 6 am to 10 pm. We have a Core Time from 10:00 to 12:00 am in which presence is required (WFH/office), and the rest of the day is up to you!
