Overview The Business Development Manager is responsible for creating, growing and managing an account base. Accountable to directly identify and initiate development efforts. Develop and execute a field sales business plan that will achieve the corporate revenue goals. This is a field-based role located either in central Italy (Rome area) or in the East of Italy (Trento, Verona, Venice). We are not considering applicants in other locations. Responsibilities Develop new business across all of our core competencies Identify, initiate and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams for multiple services Develop and execute a business plan that will achieve sales quota and budget as defined by the company Support and consult existing customers as well as further develop professional cooperation Conduct sales and negotiation meetings Prepare offers and calculations Process customer correspondence Prepare and assemble accompanying documents (offers, concepts, presentations, etc.) Plan, organize and execute customer visits Record and ensure data maintenance in the CRM as well as for cross‑departmental topics in the CRM Implement regular review meetings Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Completed further training as a forwarding specialist 5+ years of relevant business‑to‑business sales experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarding or Supply Chain Industry preferred Native level Italian and very good English language skills Benefits In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, we offer great programs for our employees.
