We are seeking a passionate, talented, and inspiring Pastry Sous Chef to join our culinary team and contribute to an unforgettable gastronomic journey. Key Responsibilities Support the Executive Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the pastry kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Ensure the preparation and presentation of all pastry products meet the highest luxury hospitality standards and align with Bvlgari brand expectations. Lead, motivate, and develop the pastry team, creating a positive and inspiring working environment. Supervise production for breakfast, à la carte, afternoon tea, amenities, banqueting, and special events. Ensure consistency, creativity, and innovation across all pastry offerings. Monitor food quality, freshness, taste, and presentation at every stage of production. Assist in menu development, seasonal creations, and special projects while staying informed about international pastry trends. Support inventory management, purchasing activities, and cost‑control initiatives to optimize productivity and minimize waste. Ensure compliance with HACCP procedures, food safety standards, and company policies. Act as a role model for service excellence and uphold Bvlgari Hotel Milano grooming and luxury standards. Requirements Previous experience as Pastry Sous Chef or Senior Pastry Chef within luxury hotels, Michelin‑starred restaurants, or premium hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of modern pastry techniques, artisanal production, and plated desserts. Passion for innovation combined with respect for Italian craftsmanship and quality ingredients. Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and develop a multicultural team. High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays according to operational needs.
