Commercial Chef – Away From Home We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Chef – Away From Home to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The role sits within the local Sales organization in the Away From Home channel and is designed to strengthen customer partnerships through high-impact culinary expertise, training, and in-field commercial support. You will work closely with the Sales team and engage frequently with food professionals, category managers, and head chefs across key accounts and prospects. The role reports to the Trade Marketing Manager – Away From Home. Role scope & time allocation The Position Is Split Across 40% based at HQ (meetings, content creation, internal coordination, preparation) 60% on field, supporting customers across Italy (typically in joint visits with Sales) The role is cross-Italy and requires the flexibility to operate against a structured calendar (prioritized customers and areas) while adapting to new opportunities and shifting priorities during the year. Field work is the predominant component of the job. Key Responsibilities HQ-based responsibilities (~40%) Participate in regular calls and meetings with the EPDM team and other chefs (the Chef network) Create culinary content such as recipes, presentations/decks, and training materials for internal and customer-facing use Coordinate with Sales to structure customer meetings linked to Food Academy sessions and co-creation activities Support and participate in recipe-building shootings (recipe development and execution for content) Participate in and/or coordinate internal events and customer events connected to food/cooking initiatives Organize and run internal testing and internal trainings, including preparation, materials, and set-up Field responsibilities (~60%) Lead co-creation initiatives and testing sessions with chains Conduct market visits in restaurants (in collaboration with Brand Ambassadors) to capture market needs, scout opportunities, and monitor emerging trends Build deep understanding of chains and their menus to identify culinary and commercial opportunities Deliver and coordinate Chef Academy activities – the primary focus of the role Run dedicated Heinz sessions at customer sites to increase technical knowledge of the Heinz portfolio, customized to the customer objective agreed with Sales (e.g., category penetration, range expansion, innovation focus) Deliver training sessions for customer sales forces Deliver culinary trainings for customers’ customers, with targeted technical focus areas Provide menu consultancy to support customer needs and drive category growth Provide menu consultancy to support customer needs and drive category growth Profile The Away From Home Commercial Chef combines strong culinary expertise with commercial acumen and a customer-first mindset. You are comfortable working against commercial objectives in partnership with Away From Home Channel Managers and Sales. You understand the culinary and technical challenges faced by customers across Away From Home sub-channels and translate insights into practical solutions that create value for customers and commercial wins for Kraft Heinz. We are looking for a representative, expressive, and commercially driven chef with excellent communication skills and a strong ambition to build impact through the field.
