What You’ll Do Across phases, you will gain hands‑on experience with state‑of‑the‑art methodologies and technologies in our agile product development environment. This role is designed to grow well‑rounded AI professionals, with a solid foundation in software engineering to bring models into production. Contribute directly to the development of ION’s products, from requirements through to delivery Design, develop, train, evaluate and iterate on Machine Learning models and Generative AI solutions Work with Language Models (LLMs) and related techniques (prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, fine‑tuning, evaluation) Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build and ship innovative, high‑impact products Solve complex technical problems and translate them into scalable, efficient solutions What We’re Looking For Master’s degree in a STEM discipline — obtained within the last year or currently in progress, with a strong academic record Programming experience in one or more of: Python, Typescript, JavaScript Strong communicator, collaborative by nature, and fluent in English (B2+) Based in Italy or willing to relocate; non‑EU candidates must hold a valid EU work permit Pursuant to Italian Law (L.68/99), candidates registered on the disability list will be given priority.
