Role Responsibilities Apply pricing components and rating methodologies to price new and existing products, supported by actuarial analysis. Support the maintenance and ongoing development of pricing tools. Enhance pricing models and processes to improve automation and accuracy, including transitioning from Excel-based tools to scalable, AI-powered platforms. Collaborate closely with Underwriters to test and refine models, ensuring they are robust and fit for purpose. Support pricing activities, including account-level pricing, benchmark reviews, and portfolio analysis. Provide actuarial support to other departments and business areas, as required. Undertake any other reasonable tasks, as directed by your manager(s). Skills & Experience Essential: A BSc degree (or higher) in a numerical subject (e.g., Actuarial Science). 3-4 years of relevant experience in an actuarial-focused role. Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualisation tools; Python experience is highly preferred. Good knowledge of databases and analytics tools, including experience with data cubes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on efficient, automated solutions. Ability and desire to learn and adapt quickly in a changing, dynamic environment. Excellent IT skills (MS Office suite). Strong communication skills. Proactive and able to work independently. Desirable: Experience in general insurance. Willingness to pursue actuarial qualifications. Ability to build relationships with non-actuarial stakeholders. VBA, Python, or other programming experience. Power BI experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
