Purpose of the position: As a Construction Methods Engineer specializing in underground works — particularly those carried out using both mechanized and traditional techniques, as well as special foundation works and ground consolidation—you will respond to the Head of the Sustainable Infrastructure Construction Division and be part of the Sustainable Infrastructure Business Line. How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities: Collaborate in the development of the assigned construction activities, which may relate both to the tendering phase and to project execution, ensuring that they are carried out correctly and within the planned schedule, in compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards, as well as with the specific constraints imposed by different operating contexts; Analyze and implement construction procedures, study and define plans to ensure the integrity of structural components during construction phases, verify calculations and procedures underlying the design, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements; Provide proactive support across all involved Saipem and Project functions, as required, implementing the most efficient and effective solutions for construction activities in support of target objectives; During both the tendering and construction phases, assist the line manager and other involved functions in the preparation of requests for quotation and in the evaluation of technical offers for the relevant scope of work; Analyze and develop detailed construction schedules for the works to be carried out; Contribute to the collection and management of all key performance indicators identified by the line manager for the proper monitoring and analysis of the progress of both tendering and construction activities. Education: Master's degree/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Technical diploma C.A.T. (surveyor) or I.T.T. with a specialisation in geotechnics or environment and territory (mining technician); Experience: at least 10 years in the construction sector of underground works using mechanised/traditional technology, as well as in special foundation works/consolidation; Technical Skills: Knowledge of regulations relating to public works in Italy and at least at European level; Knowledge of specific technical regulations concerning underground works and, more generally, those applicable to infrastructure (e.g., Eurocodes, environmental regulations, etc.); Good understanding of construction methods for underground works in relation to various territorial contexts; Ability to draft technical reports in English; Strong skills in technical feasibility analysis; What else should you know?
