The Cooling Systems Engineering Lead is responsible for the technical ownership of electric pumps, valves and Thermal Management Modules (TMM) within vehicle thermal management architectures for conventional and electrified vehicles. The Engineering Lead acts as the primary technical reference for assigned components across vehicle programs. Support design decisions, trade-off analyses and architectural choices within the thermal system. Develop, maintain and improve engineering standards, specifications and guidelines related to pumps, valves and thermal modules. Support the alignment of supplier technical documentation with internal engineering standards. Provide technical support during all development phases, from concept to production and field issues. Support performance optimization activities related to flow control, energy efficiency and thermal response. HVAC and refrigerant system teams EDU and power electronics cooling teams Controls and software teams Solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, electromechanical systems and control logic. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or a related STEM discipline. Understanding of automotive product development processes and engineering deliverables. Experience in defining technical requirements and supporting component integration. Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Physics or related fields. Exposure to automotive thermal management systems.
