Senior Cloud Infrastructure & OpenStack Engineer: As a Senior OpenStack Engineer, you will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of advanced private cloud infrastructures supporting high-performance and AI-driven workloads. You will act as a senior technical reference for cloud networking, OpenStack environments, and containerized infrastructures, contributing to scalable and highly available platforms deployed both on bare metal and virtualized environments. You will join an R&D-oriented infrastructure team focused on technology scouting, infrastructure automation, deployment solutions, and operational analytics, working closely with engineering and operations teams to integrate cutting-edge hardware and software technologies into enterprise-grade solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, architect, and optimize complex OpenStack environments with a focus on advanced networking technologies (Neutron, OVN/OVS, SR-IOV, DPDK). Lead the deployment and troubleshooting of highly scalable cloud infrastructures and distributed environments. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on infrastructure solution design, technical assessments, and implementation strategies. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible for automated infrastructure lifecycle management. Support cross-functional teams by providing technical guidance, documentation, mentoring, and escalation support on complex infrastructure projects. Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies related to cloud, networking, and distributed systems. Qualifications & Background Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Network Engineering, or related STEM disciplines. 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, network engineering, or distributed systems environments. Experience with high-performance or large-scale computing environments is considered a plus. Core Technical Skills Deep expertise in OpenStack architecture and administration (Neutron, Nova, Ironic). Strong networking knowledge including BGP, OSPF, Spine-Leaf architectures, and Software-Defined Networking (SDN). Advanced Linux system administration skills across enterprise distributions. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Golang. Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, AlertManager, and OpenSearch. Familiarity with GPU-enabled and containerized workloads is appreciated.
