Postdoc on Photoelectrochemical Systems for Solar Fuels Project: Applied Energy Materials and Technologies. Commitment & contract: Postdoc – 12 Months. Location: IIT – Center for Sustainable Future Technologies, Via Livorno 60, 10144, Torino (TO). Responsibilities Design, synthesis and characterization of new types of photoelectrodes for solar fuel generation, focusing on OER, HER and CO2RR. Carry out photo‑electrochemical measurements and establish structure–performance correlations for photoelectrode optimization and understand the dynamics of charge carriers. Essential Requirements A PhD in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering or similar disciplines. Previous experience in synthesis and characterization of photoelectrodes for PEC systems. Documented experience in synthesis and generic characterization of nanomaterials (SEM, XRD, …). Knowledge of intensity‑modulated spectroscopy techniques (EIS, IMPS, IMVS). A strong publication record. Ability to properly report, organize and publish research data. Documented experience in coaching junior scientists. Good command of spoken and written English.
