Key Responsibilities (Cloud Technologist) Lead the design and governance of DevOps CI/CD strategies and enterprise delivery pipelines Architect and oversee implementation of Azure cloud solutions aligned to client business and technology strategies Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and DevOps practices across Azure environments Provide technical leadership across project teams from requirements through architecture, delivery oversight, and operational handover Design secure, scalable, and resilient Azure architectures for modern workloads Lead technical assessments and cloud adoption strategies for customers moving to Azure Conduct architectural and technical reviews to ensure solutions meet security, compliance, performance, and business objectives Mentor and guide analysts and consultants in delivery and capability development Contribute to pre‑sales activities including solution shaping, estimations, proposals, and client presentations Cloud Security Support Engineer – Core Requirements Knowledgeable in Australian Government information assurance requirements, including the Information Security Manual (ISM), NIST CSF 2.0 and Essential 8 ML2. Experience across a variety of technologies including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender suite, Azure Security Center, Sentinel SIEM, Azure logging, incident response, cryptography, network and system security. Hands‑on experience with Security Copilot, incident response, threat hunting, and log management/analysis. Experience managing security infrastructure (firewalls, IPS, WAF, endpoint protection, SIEM, log management, Zscaler, Proofpoint). Proven experience in reviewing security vulnerabilities and proficiency with vulnerability management toolsets. Understanding of IT service management (ITIL disciplines: change, configuration, asset, incident, problem management). Experience and understanding of how applications, services and infrastructure are deployed into public cloud services (Microsoft Azure). Strong communication skills to explain security issues to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Familiarity with current cybersecurity trends such as Zero Trust, Extended Detection and Response (XDR), or AI‑driven security analytics. Experience responsible for incident response coordination, investigation, and remediation, as well as staying current with threat intelligence.
