Data Analyst – Role Overview In BIP xTech, Data Analysts work on projects ranging from long to short term, using tools such as MS Excel, SQL, SAS, Python, VBA, and other data science technologies. Responsibilities Extract, clean, model, and analyze data using industry-standard tools (MS Excel, SQL, SAS, Python). Build analytical models and interactive reporting with MS Excel. Automate operational processes with advanced MS Excel models, VBA macros, and supporting technologies. Assist clients in process execution, identifying and implementing efficiency solutions, often collaborating with colleagues across other specializations. Conduct functional data and IT analysis. Manage data and IT projects. Core Skills and Qualifications University degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, economics, or related quantitative fields. Excellent proficiency with MS Excel (pivot tables and formulas). Excellent SQL skills. Strong understanding of relational database concepts. Proficiency in at least one programming language. Solid statistical knowledge. Fluent in Italian and English. Preferred (Plus) Skills Advanced VBA knowledge. Familiarity with SAS (Base/Guide/Viya). Experience with MS Access. Programming in Python. Understanding of main cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related data services. Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau). Basic knowledge of Robotic Process Automation and Process Mining technologies. Basic understanding of CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP (e.g., SAP) systems.
