We are supporting an international manufacturing company in the search for a Finance & Administration Manager to join its Italian organisation. About the Role The candidate will lead the local finance and administration agenda, ensuring accurate financial reporting, disciplined credit management and a robust compliance framework. This is a visible and hands‑on role for a finance professional who combines technical strength with sound judgement, operational discipline and collaborative leadership. Responsibilities Lead the period‑end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Maintain strong balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations, accruals, provisions and reserves. Manage the local credit control framework, including customer onboarding, credit limits, reviews and escalation procedures. Drive collections performance and monitor AR ageing, DSO, bad debt exposure and dispute resolution, implementing corrective action where required. Own and maintain the local finance internal control framework, including process documentation, control design, testing coordination and remediation follow‑up. Coordinate internal and external audits, working with auditors, tax advisors, banks and other key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with group policies, statutory requirements and internal governance standards. Support local responsibilities linked to anti‑bribery, data protection, risk management and governance processes. Contribute to governance‑related ESG reporting and documentation, ensuring clear ownership, strong evidence trails and formal sign‑off processes. Partner with the business on relevant IT financial oversight, systems governance and IT security requirements. Qualifications Degree preferably in Business, Finance or a related discipline. Around 3–5 years of experience in administration management within industrial companies. Required Skills Strong expertise in accounting, controllership and balance sheet management. Sound experience in credit management, collections and dispute resolution. Good understanding of internal controls, audit, compliance and governance processes.
