Stellantis's Product Development & Technology Organization's mission is to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology. The main job responsibilities will be: To work with electrical engineers to design circuit boards assemblies, including MCU, SOC, high voltage, high power, HDI, and high-speed, etc. To design printed circuit boards meeting high-volume production grade To lead layout reviews with internal and external teams To monitor layout progress and change management To work with mechanical engineers on mechanical-electrical packaging To support quick-turn board builds with PCB contract manufacturers To release technical documents (BOM, design procedures, design for manufacture, etc.) To release the layout drawings to the various teams and coordinate their layout activities by ensuring compliance with the layout rules Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET-accredited university At least 4 years’ experience in the layout of high-speed PCBs Experienced in routing high-speed digital DDRx (4 gen minimum) memory interface, PCIe, etc. Experienced with constraints-driven PCB layout methodology Experienced in building and maintaining design guidelines PCB layer stack-up design Library and Layout review process IPC Standards for Symbol and Footprint creation Gerber release process Preferred Qualifications Experienced in industrial or automotive (preferred) area (TIER1) Detailed understanding of high-speed digital PCB routing constraints, multilayer PCB construction Experience with BGA pitch of equal to or less than 0.5mm Experience managing 3rd party layout services Ability to participate in schematic and design reviews Justified experience with leading, animating, and following up on layout design reviews Experienced with at least 2 CAD tools hereafter for schematic and layout: Cadence, Mentor, Altium, Zuken. Altium is preferred
