Role Method Engineer Responsibilities Defines and validates the detailed manufacturing process for a new product. Performs industrial documentation for the project, defines industrial master data and sets the manufacturing method time. In serial phase, drives continuous improvement actions and industrializes product and process changes. During specification and preliminary design phases Brings ideas to the Process Engineer or the PIM to guide product definition in order to improve manufacturability and achieve QCD targets. Participates in product design reviews when required. Estimates Method Time. During detailed design phase and before Serial Go Participates in P-FMEA. Participates in validation of prototypes if any. Requests tooling when needed and writes tooling specifications. Depending on the domain: performs ERP routings, Work Instructions, Inspection Instructions, program for CNC machines, ensuring good EHS and ergonomic conditions. Performs work stations task sequencing. Validates product design and industrialization through FAR and FAI. Calculates precise Method Time. After serial Go Industrializes retrofit after engineering changes: Routings, Work Instructions, and tooling. Supports Production to achieve manufacturing QCD targets. Participates in continuous improvement workshops (e.g., SWIP). Contributes to industrial REX on manufacturing processes. Educational Requirements Technical education: electrical/mechanical/welding skills English read, written, spoken Desired Knowledge / Experience Manufacturing experience, preferably in the railway industry.
