About the Role The Technology Support Analyst is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for providing support to the Milan office regarding the resolution of complex desktop, notebook, mobile device, and remote computing issues, while troubleshooting problems involving hardware, systems software, and applications software. Please note that this role requires in-office presence. Responsibilities & Qualifications Other key responsibilities include: Providing assistance to end users for firm-approved applications using a variety of different methods, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, iManage, Litera Compare, Intapp Time, Remote Desktop Services, VPN, and other applications as deemed necessary Setting up, configuring, and installing software in PC computers, notebook computers, printers, and networking equipment Supporting videoconferencing with both internal and external sites Maintaining an inventory of hardware and providing relocation of PC systems when needed Coordinating with other local Technology department members on product installation, training, and support We’d love to hear from you if you: Display well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm Exhibit knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook), iManage 10, and Litera Compare Demonstrate a strong desire and capacity to work in a team environment with a high customer-service focus Possess the analytical skills necessary to troubleshoot a variety of symptoms, diagnose problems, test solutions, and recommend and implement resolutions to technology issues And have: Technology support experience in a law firm, professional services, or financial services environment, preferably Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English Experience with software installations and upgrades, training, and technical documentation Knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, standard hardware components, and peripherals, preferably A high school diploma or equivalent, preferably a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, business information systems, or a related field Benefits & Additional Information Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
