We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer for After Sales Service in the biogas sector, with a strong technical background and a solid network within the industry. The successful candidate will focus on public customers and act as a key link between clients and our service organization. Your tasks Achieve sales targets in After Sales Service (revenue, margin, and market penetration) Increase the number of customers and expand market share Strengthen customer loyalty and long-term relationships Enhance the company’s image in all external interactions Ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective execution of all tasks Sales & Customer Management Advise customers on service products for biogas plants (applications, benefits, optimization potential) Maintain and develop strong relationships through regular customer visits Manage and coordinate a network of existing customers Identify and acquire new customers, with a focus on public sector clients Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and coordinate internally Business Development Develop and implement new sales strategies Contribute to market-appropriate pricing in collaboration with internal departments Identify market trends and opportunities within the biogas sector Drive market penetration and expansion activities Operational Coordination Initiate and coordinate service orders in close collaboration with the Service Office Ensure customer requests and feedback are processed efficientlySupport internal teams with customer insights and requirements Reporting & Analysis Maintain sales statistics and performance tracking Provide regular reporting on activities, opportunities, and market developments Your profile Qualifications & Experience Technical background (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or environmental engineering) Solid experience in the biogas or renewable energy sector Strong network within the biogas industry (especially in Italy) Proven experience in technical sales or after-sales service Strong customer orientation and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage a distributed customer base High level of flexibility and willingness to travel Languages Italian (fluent, negotiable/professional level) English (fluent) German is a plus Location & Travel Primary work location: Italy Office: Home office (optionally Rovereto) Travel requirement: approximately 50% Our offer A dynamic role in a growing and sustainable industry High degree of autonomy and responsibility Opportunity to shape market development in the biogas sector Collaboration with a dedicated and experienced service team #J-18808-Ljbffr
