Junior Site Verification & Validation Engineer – Venegono RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Site Verification & Validation Engineer to join its team in Venegono within the Digital Product & Platform Engineering Department. Mission Rina is looking for a Verification & Validation Engineer in VENEGONO focused on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and verification activities. You will work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop test plans and execute test cases to validate software functionality and performance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software verification and testing methodologies, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high‑quality software solutions. Key Accountabilities Perform functional and integration tests on satellite receivers. Verify the correct functioning of satellite signal reception and decoding functions. Test device firmware and software updates. Reproduce and document bugs and malfunctions. Create test reports and technical documentation. Collaborate with development, integration, and product management teams to resolve issues. Perform regression testing after software or firmware changes. Qualifications – Required Knowledge of standard DO‑178 Experience in software testing Familiarity with bug‑tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or similar) Ability to write test cases and test reports Good analytical and problem‑solving skills Qualifications – Preferred Experience with automated testing or scripting (Python, Bash, or similar) Knowledge of the digital broadcast ecosystem Soft Skills Precision and attention to detail Ability to work in a team Methodical approach to testing Good organizational skills Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other.
