Mechanical & Machinery Engineer Location: Assago, Italy Start Date: Immediate Contract Duration: October 2027 Schedule: 5 Days per Week / 8 Hours per Day Contract Type: Long-Term Contract / Consultancy We are currently supporting a major international energy project and are looking to speak with experienced Mechanical & Machinery Engineers for a long-term opportunity supporting large-scale onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities. Responsibilities: • Review mechanical and machinery design deliverables including pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, tanks, filters, HVAC and utility systems • Review technical datasheets, material requisitions and equipment sizing calculations • Support vendor package reviews and technical bid evaluations • Ensure compliance with API, ASME and ISO standards • Coordinate with process, piping, structural, electrical and instrumentation disciplines • Participate in HAZID/HAZOP studies, model reviews and constructability assessments • Review GA drawings, installation documentation and mechanical deliverables • Support technical query resolution and engineering reporting activities Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline • Minimum 5 years’ experience within oil & gas, EPC or energy projects • Strong understanding of rotating and static equipment • Experience with offshore or complex industrial facilities preferred • Familiarity with API 610/617/618, ASME VIII and related industry standards • Strong communication and coordination skills • Fluent English required Contract Options Available: • Payroll / local employment arrangement • Independent consultant / self-employed setup If interested, please apply or contact directly for further information.
