Mechanical & Machinery EngineerLocation: Assago, ItalyStart Date: ImmediateContract Duration: October 2027Schedule: 5 Days per Week / 8 Hours per DayContract Type: Long-Term Contract / ConsultancyWe are currently supporting a major international energy project and are looking to speak with experienced Mechanical & Machinery Engineers for a long-term opportunity supporting large-scale onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities.Responsibilities: - Review mechanical and machinery design deliverables including pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, tanks, filters, HVAC and utility systems - Review technical datasheets, material requisitions and equipment sizing calculations - Support vendor package reviews and technical bid evaluations - Ensure compliance with API, ASME and ISO standards - Coordinate with process, piping, structural, electrical and instrumentation disciplines - Participate in HAZID/HAZOP studies, model reviews and constructability assessments - Review GA drawings, installation documentation and mechanical deliverables - Support technical query resolution and engineering reporting activitiesRequirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline - Minimum 5 years’ experience within oil & gas, EPC or energy projects - Strong understanding of rotating and static equipment - Experience with offshore or complex industrial facilities preferred - Familiarity with API 610/617/618, ASME VIII and related industry standards - Strong communication and coordination skills - Fluent English requiredContract Options Available: - Payroll / local employment arrangement - Independent consultant / self-employed setupIf interested, please apply or contact directly for further information.
