Date: 18 May 2026 Location: Roma, RM, IT Company: Alstom Turnkey Validation & Test Acceptance Manager We are looking for a Turnkey Validation Test and Acceptance (VTA) Manager to join our TORINO L1 . Torino L1 Metro is a Turnkey project that includes signalling and rolling‑stock technologies. The project’s objective is to upgrade the existing Unattended Train Operation (UTO) L1 metro in Torino to the new UTO Alstom Fluence Signaling System, extend the line, and deliver new trains. Alstom’s role covers everything from design to commercial launch, including new rolling stock, and the project interface with civil, traction, and track suppliers. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all activities related to the verification, integration, validation, testing and acceptance of all subsystems onshore and offshore. Maintain the verification and test matrix for each design and test phase review. Lead the verification activities of the overall consortium from the requirement point of view. Prepare acceptance strategy and plans to define partial completions and final acceptances of civil work infrastructures and system works. Define VTA objectives and processes for all subsystems. Manage, control, administer and supervise all VTA related works, services, tasks, activities and actions required. Lead interfaces with third parties, the client and authorities related to VTA on behalf of the consortium. Make decisions and arbitrations on subsystem and system integration strategy, optimizing test programs and leveraging integration test campaigns and platforms. Pilot the validation of contract requirements throughout the subsystem and system integration process, from FATs to final acceptance tests, ensuring evidence for final customer acceptance. Conduct on‑site test campaigns at subsystem and system level, providing temporary operation processes, resources and means. Identify and raise VTA risks or issues for each subsystem and system. Act as main contact for all stakeholders regarding VTA activities. Report on subsystem and system VTA execution. Manage VTA gate reviews from Preliminary Gate Review (PGR) to Final Quality Approval Review (FQA). Accountable for the integration, validation and acceptance of subsystems by the manufacturers. Accountable for the acceptance of civil works, subsystems and systems by the customer/operator. Estimate and measure the costs of platform integration and validation tests. Qualifications Diploma or degree from an engineering school (electrical or mechanical). Minimum 10 years of working experience in system engineering. Minimum 5 years of working experience as a VTA manager. Knowledgeable in railway systems: electrical power distribution, signalling, communication, SCADA, and rolling‑stock systems. Experience with international projects. Rigorous, well organized. Resilient, agile and stress‑resistant. Fluent in English and Italian (mandatory).
