We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead with a strong technical background and a product-oriented mindset to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team on an innovative project developed by Startup Bakery. This role is both hands‑on and strategic: you will guide technical decisions, coordinate a cross‑functional team (backend, frontend, design, and data), and ensure that business requirements are translated into scalable, high‑quality technical solutions. Key responsibilities Act as the main technical point of contact between business, product, and engineering. Translate business needs and product requirements into clear technical architectures and implementation plans. Lead and coordinate a cross‑functional team including backend and frontend engineers, a product designer, and a data engineer. Define and evolve the overall system architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Support the team with hands‑on development and code reviews when needed. Drive technical decision‑making, prioritization, and trade‑offs in collaboration with stakeholders. Requisiti Must-have Solid background in software engineering (backend‑oriented preferred) 6+ years of experience in software development, with previous experience as Tech Lead or Senior Engineer. Strong understanding of modern web architectures, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data‑driven systems. Experience coordinating or mentoring small, multidisciplinary engineering teams. Good knowledge of agile methodologies and related tools, preferably Scrum and Jira. Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Pragmatic, product‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering real business value. Native or fluent Italian is required Nice-to-have Experience working in startups or early‑stage products.
