Job Description AKTG, a travel holding that owns Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) and Crystal Cruises (Crystal) among other brands, offers guests a life well‑travelled with incredible experiences in the world’s most intriguing destinations. The company operates in over 40 countries, managing a portfolio that includes ocean vessels, river boats, yachts in the Galápagos, and camps in Africa. Over the past four years, AKTG has developed its own information system, OneIS, which collects and manages bookings across all properties. OneIS integrates a full CRM with customers, travel advisors, agencies, consortia, MICE customers, and more. While the company has solid Business Intelligence systems, it seeks to improve the quality and usability of its data. For this purpose, AKTG is looking for a Business Performance Monitoring & BI Specialist to design, implement, and maintain business performance monitoring systems that support strategic and operational decision‑making across the organisation using its data warehouse and BI systems. Responsibilities and Accountability Design and implement business performance monitoring frameworks and KPI models. Gather and translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions. Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting tools. Ensure data consistency, quality, and governance across reporting environments. Analyse business performance trends and provide actionable insights to management. Collaborate with business functions (Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, etc.) to define and monitor critical metrics. Support automation and optimisation of reporting processes. Work closely with IT and data engineering teams on data integration and system enhancements. Monitor performance of BI solutions and continuously improve usability and effectiveness. Contribute to the evolution of the company’s data‑driven culture. Skills and Abilities Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related fields. Proven experience in Business Intelligence, Performance Management, or Data Analytics roles. Strong knowledge of KPI design and performance measurement methodologies. Experience with BI and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar. Business knowledge of the travel industry, particularly cruise lines, tour operators, destination‑management companies, and real‑estate. Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Understanding of data modelling and reporting architectures. Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience in international and cross‑functional environments is a plus. Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration concepts. Familiarity with cloud‑based analytics platforms. Experience in performance management within service‑oriented or travel‑related industries. Understanding of financial and operational reporting principles.
