Job Summary As a PayPal Paid Media Marketing Manager within Consumer Marketing, you’ll help bring PayPal’s mission and value propositions to consumers through insight‑led, full‑funnel campaigns. You’ll identify customer needs, shape media strategies, and build campaigns that drive both brand and performance outcomes. This role requires strong analytical capability, proven experience launching and optimizing paid media campaigns, and the ability to collaborate across analytics, brand, legal, martech, and agency teams. The ideal candidate is influential, organized, accountable, and brings deep knowledge of the FR, IT, and ES markets, including local media buying nuances and audience behavior. Essential Responsibilities Develop and implement customer‑focused, omnichannel campaigns to drive traffic, capture demand, and generate revenue Leverage data and technology to optimize marketing strategies and campaign performance Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align marketing initiatives with organizational goals Identify growth opportunities by analyzing and synthesizing data from multiple sources Track, measure, and report program performance, optimizing for efficiency and scalability Lead A/B testing and iterative optimization of campaigns and marketing programs Optimize team structure and processes to foster a culture of high performance and innovation Minimum Qualifications 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of paid media agency Consumer strategic planning for FR, IT, ES, road‑mapping, and identifying improvements to ways of working to drive efficiency Collaborate closely with brand and integrated marketing teams to ensure top‑quality and on‑time creative delivery, execution, and iterative testing cadence Leverage data‑driven approach to analyze and drive campaign optimizations alongside Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Martech teams Close collaboration with media teams in various markets to share learnings and opportunities for scale Support product marketing leads in business casing and executing high‑growth strategies and strategically incorporate product innovations into paid media messaging Partner with privacy, risk, legal, and compliance to source and evaluate external opportunities for enhancing media program Own paid media customer journey through landing page and app store testing to drive higher conversion rates Champion changes to operational efficiencies, identifying cross‑functional solutions to streamline media workflows Guide publisher partner relationships with core channel partners (i.e. Google, Meta, etc.) Drive media learning agendas at the channel and publisher level through the lens of audience, creative, format, and tactical testing Partner closely with Analytics to continue to build and evolve paid media incrementality story Drive connectivity to Consumer segment squads (acquisition, engagement, and brand) to ensure strategies are cohesive and aligned across paid and owned and drive monthly readouts to these stakeholders Stay updated with the latest industry trends and identify new opportunities to drive optimal campaign performance and clear measurement outcomes Partner with Martech, Media Enablement, and Media Ops to drive solutions forward to strengthen paid media measurement and platform signals through business casing for leadership approval Required Skills 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with experience across the funnel Experience in running media campaigns in the FR, IT, ES markets In‑depth knowledge of paid media channels Familiarity with managing and scaling linear TV, OOH, Audio, and other traditional paid media programs as well as performance marketing Strong analytical and data‑driven mindset to draw out actionable insights and make data‑backed decisions Proven ability to develop and implement effective paid media strategies aligned with core business objectives Experience managing an agency team, including planning, prioritization, and guidance Strong track record of working with external vendors and internal partners, such as media and creative agencies 4+ years of experience working cross‑functionally with analytics/martech teams Comfortable communicating and pitching growth opportunities to segment and leadership teams Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills Operate autonomously to deliver results and self‑starter who naturally becomes a resourceful addition to the team and knows when/how to elevate risks or blockers when necessary Thrives in a fast‑paced environment High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and ad platforms Excels in stakeholder management and can juggle projects and business priorities across a variety of segments Understanding of the financial services, fintech, and payments industry/ecosystem a plus Curious and a self‑learner, able to navigate the discomfort of learning new channels and technologies by relying on frameworks and simplicity Strongly resonate and
