Operations Team LeadLocation: Genoa, Italy Your ImpactAs the Operations Team Lead, you will take ownership of sea freight operations, lead a small team, and drive process improvements and service excellence. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily operations of the Sea Freight department Work closely with your team and actively handle import/export shipments Challenge and improve current ways of working to enhance efficiency Ensure full compliance with internal procedures (OPS) and external regulations Monitor and optimize operational costs while maintaining competitive service levels Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, agents, and service providers Ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction Identify and resolve operational challenges proactively Qualifications Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field Minimum 3+ years experience in freight forwarding with sea freight experience required Hands‑on mindset with the ability to lead by example Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to support operations when needed Additional certifications (FIATA, customs, Lean/Six Sigma) are a plus Be part of a small, entrepreneurial, high‑impact team, contribute directly to the company's growth and success, and enjoy opportunities for career development and progression. #J-18808-Ljbffr
