Principal Technical Account Lead This role owns development and management of the technical relationship between our enterprise-level retailers and internal teams. They help our retailers by serving as a trusted technical advisor, facilitating adoption of our suite of solutions, consulting on how to best leverage Flipp services, and generating excitement about reinvention of weekly shopping. Additionally, PTAL helps shape product roadmap with Flipp’s product and engineering teams by weighing in with industry and real‑world retailer knowledge. Responsibilities Support development of technical strategies, consult on solutions, and build tailored plans for each partnership to build long‑lasting relationships with our retail partners and help them strategize and grow their business. Leverage retailer and Flipp product knowledge to identify solutions to tactical and strategic retailer problems/opportunities, such as increasing user engagement with the digital circular. Project manage and own delivery of onboarding and strategic ad‑hoc projects for enterprise and mid‑market retailers, ensuring smooth execution and delivery on retailer commitments and agility to intervene where support is needed. Serve as the technical advocate for our retailers internally within Shopfully (Flipp product teams), driving value‑focused Retailer Product development. Coordinate a small team of Technical Account Leads. Coordinate with the North American Customer Solutions team to define common processes and practices. Qualifications Industry experience in client services, technical pre‑sales, technical account management or project management. Experience handling objections and applying pre‑defined technical solutions to overcome them. Experience working with cross‑functional teams; specifically, Product, Sales, Analytics, and Engineering toward a common goal. Demonstrated business acumen and experience working with external client personnel to bring technology solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrated experience managing and delivering internal and external projects. Familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript, APIs, JSON, e‑commerce systems. Italian (native speaker level), English (full proficiency). Nice to Have Knowledge of the retail industry and managing promotional offers. Spanish (full proficiency). Familiarity with e‑commerce systems such as Magento, Demandware, and others. Familiarity with mobile application development ecosystem. Salary and Location Salary: €50.000 – €60.000 gross per year.
