The candidate will join our Security Engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of secure software systems for space missions, governmental services, and critical infrastructures. The role spans cryptographic engineering, secure‑by‑design architectures, and the implementation of cyber‑resilient platforms for environments where data sovereignty is non‑negotiable. What you’ll work on HYBRID – FLORENCE (full‑time) Design, development, testing, and deployment of security‑critical software components for space and ground systems, focusing on key management, secure communications, applied cryptography, and post‑quantum readiness. Hardening of platforms and pipelines across the DamoTech product suite—including the RadaЯ DevSecOps platform and the Fortia classified‑information environment—operating under air‑gapped and zero‑cloud‑dependency constraints. Architecture and threat‑modelling of complex software systems, including security risk analysis, supply‑chain integrity (SBOM), and review of cryptographic protocol design. Drafting technical documentation in compliance with relevant standards (ECSS, CCSDS, GSWS, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST). Mentorship of junior engineers and active contribution to the engineering culture, code‑review standards, and secure SDLC practices of the team. What do you need Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. 4+ years of professional experience in design and development of complex, networked, or multi‑threaded software systems. Strong command of Rust and/or C++. Solid knowledge of applied cryptography (symmetric, asymmetric, hashing, key management)—including academic exposure to post‑quantum primitives. Familiarity with secure software design principles and secure SDLC. Eligibility for National Security Clearance (NOS / NATO). Good knowledge of written and spoken English. Desired knowledge & skills Experience with space systems, satellite communications protocols, or TT&C. Knowledge of DevSecOps tooling (CI/CD, IaC, container scanning, SBOM).
