About The Role The Technology Support Analyst is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team and will provide support to the Milan office for desktop, notebook, mobile, and remote computing issues. The role requires in‑office presence. Responsibilities Provide assistance to end users for firm‑approved applications, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, iManage, Litera Compare, Intapp Time, Remote Desktop Services, VPN, and other necessary applications. Set up, configure, and install software on PC computers, notebook computers, printers, and networking equipment. Support videoconferencing with both internal and external sites. Maintain an inventory of hardware and facilitate relocation of PC systems when needed. Coordinate with other local Technology department members on product installation, training, and support. Qualifications Display well‑developed, professional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels. Exhibit knowledge and proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), iManage 10, and Litera Compare. Demonstrate strong teamwork and a high customer‑service focus. Possess analytical skills necessary to troubleshoot symptoms, diagnose issues, test solutions, and recommend and implement resolutions. Have technology support experience in a law firm, professional services, or financial services environment. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English. Experience with software installations, upgrades, training, and technical documentation. Prior knowledge of standard hardware components and peripherals is preferred. Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, business information systems, or a related field is preferred.
