Quickparts is hiring a Maintenance Technician to ensure the operational continuity and efficiency of our entire Italy facility. You will be responsible for preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance across all production systems, including 3D printing, CNC machining, injection moulding, and vacuum casting. You will work closely with the Production Manager, Quality Manager, and Department Team Leaders, actively contributing to continuous improvement and cost‑saving initiatives. Key Responsibilities Carry out preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance on 3D printing machines (SLA, SLS, DLP, and DMP systems) Manage the Preventive Maintenance Plan in line with manufacturer‑specified cycles and parameters Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and optical faults on production systems and respond promptly to minimise downtime Calibrate machine process parameters and manage the Additive Manufacturing spare parts inventory, collaborating with procurement Liaise with OEMs and technical service providers for specialist interventions Perform maintenance on CNC machining centres, injection moulding presses, and vacuum casting systems Ensure the correct operation of general facility systems (electrical, pneumatic, air conditioning, process fluids) Coordinate and supervise external contractors and maintenance providers Verify compliance with health and safety regulations and manage PPE and workshop safety procedures Manage fault reports through the internal ticketing system and update technical plant documentation Participate in continuous improvement projects, Root Cause Analysis, and monitor maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, machine availability, costs) Support the implementation of predictive maintenance practices (condition monitoring, vibration analysis, thermography) Qualifications Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance roles, preferably in advanced or high‑technology manufacturing environments In‑depth knowledge of at least one 3D printing technology (SLA, SLS, DLP, DMP) with direct hands‑on experience highly preferred Solid mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic maintenance skills on industrial machinery Working knowledge of CNC systems and associated maintenance; familiarity with injection moulding/vacuum casting is a plus Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics and technical documentation in Italian and English Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS / GMAO) and maintenance planning tools Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations Strong problem‑solving mindset, flexibility to work outside normal hours for breakdowns, and a results‑oriented approach Technical‑level English (ability to read manuals and communicate with international suppliers) Specific technical certifications on AM systems are a strong advantage We welcome applications from individuals belonging to protected categories Benefits A permanent, full‑time role within a global leader in advanced manufacturing and strong growth A dynamic, international working environment driven by technological innovation The opportunity to work with a unique mix of advanced technologies: additive manufacturing, CNC machining, injection moulding, and vacuum casting A structured training programme with access to technical training on AM systems and certifications from leading manufacturers Direct involvement in facility improvement and development projects Opportunities for professional growth in an inclusive and respectful workplace #J-18808-Ljbffr
