We are looking for a PLM Design Release Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development and lifecycle management of Telematic Control Units (TCU) , working at the intersection of hardware, software, suppliers and engineering teams worldwide . As PLM Design Release Engineer , you will be responsible for the management, approval and release of technical deliverables within the PLM ENOVIA environment , supporting TCU development across all vehicle program phases — from concept to serial production. You will ensure data consistency, timely releases and smooth approval workflows , collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers in a strongly international and cross-functional context. Lead design approval and release activities for Telematic Control Units within PLM systems Manage and release part numbers across all project phases and mechanical variants Create, maintain and control PLM ENOVIA objects (Expected Deliverables, Configurations, Products, BOMs, etc.) Execute and monitor PLM approval workflows in line with vehicle milestones and development phases Coordinate with engineering teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and integration Upload, manage and release 2D/3D CAD models (CATIA) in collaboration with CAD design teams Manage technical specifications , documentation and compliance within PLM Support and manage PLM Technical Review Checklists , identifying risks and blocking points Monitor PLM-related KPIs , escalate critical issues and support methodology troubleshooting Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related Engineering fields ~5+ years of experience within the Automotive industry ~ Familiarity with PLM systems and approval workflows ~ Basic knowledge of CAD tools (e.g. CATIA) and ability to read technical drawings ~ Experience with project, change and requirement management processes ~ Strong experience with PLM tools (ENOVIA or similar) Passion for Automotive Electronics and Connected Vehicle systems Good communication skills in English , both written and spoken Solid project planning and coordination skills in cross-functional environments Be part of a global, multicultural engineering environment Contribute to the transformation toward software-defined mobility Grow your career within one of the world’s leading automotive groups
