The Manufacturing Engineer acts as the primary escalation point for complex production issues and leads structured problem-solving activities across functions.The position works in close collaboration with the Molding Engineer, ensuring a clear separation between process/system ownership and mold design/modification.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and deeply understand each production work cell, including injection presses, molds, robots, and auxiliary systemsDocument and maintain knowledge of how and why each system is configured and programmedEnsure process stability, repeatability, and compliance with cleanroom and quality standardsAct as the main escalation point for technical issues not solvable by shift technicians or maintenanceLead troubleshooting and root cause analysis using a structured and data-driven approachOptimize process performance (cycle time, scrap reduction, OEE, efficiency)Define and maintain standard process parameters and machine settingsSupport production during start-ups, changeovers, and critical deviationsMold-related coordination:Identify when issues are mold-related vs process-relatedTrigger mold intervention when requiredCoordinate mold removal and transfer to toolshopSupport the Molding Engineer in defining required mechanical modificationsCollaborate with automation suppliers and equipment vendors for improvements and issue resolutionSupport validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and process documentationTrain production teams on process standards and troubleshooting basicsDrive continuous improvement and standardization initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering3–6 years of experience in plastic injection molding Strong understanding of injection molding processes and production systemsExperience with automation (robots, handling systems, auxiliaries)Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsAbility to read technical drawings and understand mechanical interventionsExperience in cleanroom or regulated environments is a plusStrong communication and cross-functional coordination skillsFluent in EnglishKey CompetenciesSystem thinking and ownership mindsetStructured problem solvingHands-on technical approachAbility to work under pressure in production environmentsStrong collaboration across teamsWhat We Offer:Competitive compensation package including performance-based incentives.The backing of a global leader with the agility of a start-upPossibility to make an impact in our rapidly expanding Mirandola Plant
