Brief Description Of The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic recent graduate or young professional to join our international Controlling team in Milan. The role will support financial planning, closing, reporting, and performance monitoring activities across HQ and other markets. This is an excellent opportunity to build a solid foundation in finance within a dynamic and international environment. Value Creation The role is expected to generate value by supporting the accuracy and timeliness of budgeting, forecasting, and closing processes, improving the reliability of financial reporting, and contributing to process automation and efficiency in performance measurement. It also supports cross-functional alignment by enabling timely information collection for top management reviews. Core Responsibilities Support the Controlling Team in budgeting and forecasting processes for HQ and other markets. Support in monthly, quarterly, and half-year closing processes. Support in verifying the accuracy of accounting flows, in defining monitoring activities, and in drawing up analyses. Support with automating processes and improving efficiency in performance measurement. Support with financial reporting processes, your insights will directly contribute to key business decisions and strategy. Support multiple departments to ensure timely information collection for top management reviews. Requirements Recent bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Finance (or equivalent degree). Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive mindset. Proficiency in Excel. Fluency in ITALIAN and ENGLISH. Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. Previous experience in controlling is a plus; but not required. Governance & Scope Area of responsibility: Finance (Controlling).
