Posting Date: 15 May 2026 City: Genova Location: Genova, IT, 16129 Contract Type: Permanent Division: Energy Project Solutions Level of experience: Senior Energy Power Projects Manager RINA is currently recruiting for a Energy Power Projects Manager to join its office in Genoa within the Energy Project Solutions division. The reference team is responsible for consultancy services provided to external clients in the field of power generation plants, focusing on construction, commissioning, operation, and related project phases. Mission As a Project Manager you will coordinate and manage complex projects in the Power Generation sector, primarily working with major long‑standing RINA clients such as leading energy operators in the power generation industry (e.g., gas powerplants, combined cycle plants, wind farms). You will manage on‑site team coordination, construction site inspections, progress monitoring, quality control, and supervision activities, and strengthen collaborations with players in the Italian market. Key Accountabilities Manage assigned projects ensuring technical, financial, and scheduling objectives are achieved. Coordinate involved resources and supervise operational activities. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company procedures, and quality standards. Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams. Support technical supervision, inspection, testing, and works supervision activities. Manage the technical and commercial aspects of contracts and related project documentation. Participate in progress meetings and coordinate project activities. Education Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering or related field. Qualifications 4–5 years of experience in engineering (including purely technical roles) or project management within the Power Generation sector (gas plants, combined cycles, renewables, wind energy, etc.). Previous field experience within works supervision teams or equivalent technical roles is a plus. Technical background (plant design, site supervision, on‑site operational activities) with an interest in managerial/project management responsibilities. Ability to coordinate activities, manage client relationships, and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Excellent knowledge of Italian and English. Resourcefulness in shaping progress and working efficiently. Context awareness adopting a systemic perspective and informed decision making.
