Job Summary The Purchase Specialist, on the basis of purchase requests and contracts, manages orders of qualified suppliers, related to materials and services. He/She verifies and monitors the purchase orders status until their closure in accordance with the terms and conditions established in contracts and QMS. The resource supports the Purchasing Manager in supplier evaluation and the management of QMS documentation. Key Accountabilities On the basis of purchase requests issued by the Material Manager or the Purchase Manager, manages the issuance of orders to suppliers for the procurement of materials needed to implement the production plan; On the basis of purchase requests issued by Department Managers, manages the issuance of orders to suppliers for procurements of materials, equipment and services necessary for plant activities; On the basis of service contracts coordinated by the Manufacturing Plant Director, manages the issuance of orders to service providers for the performance of planned activities (canteen service, cleaning, pest control, maintenance, technical consultancy, supervision, etc.); Verifies and monitors the terms and conditions established in the purchase orders, the correctness of the quantities of materials to be ordered, costs and deadlines offered by suppliers based on standard prices in SAP, stipulated contracts, technical documentation and Quality System procedures. Collaborates with the Purchase Manager in the annual evaluation of the performance of material and service suppliers. Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: Bachelor's degree in Business economics/ Management or high school diploma with equivalent experience. Experience: 2 years. Language: Italian mother tongue, English level B2.
