Role Overview We are looking for a motivated Finance Intern to join our European Commercial Finance team. This role offers hands‑on exposure to commercial finance in a global life sciences organization, combining day‑to‑day financial support with ownership of a Europe‑wide OPEX process improvement project. Key Responsibilities Commercial Finance & Business Support Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the European commercial organization Contribute to quarterly forecasts across revenue, margins, backlog, cash, and related KPIs Prepare financial analyses and presentations for monthly and quarterly leadership reviews Reporting & Performance Management Assist with management reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking Support month‑end and quarter‑end close activities Analyze product profitability, margin trends, and working capital performance Cross‑Regional Collaboration Work closely with finance managers across European countries to ensure alignment Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions OPEX Process Improvement Project Lead the documentation and improvement of OPEX governance and expense management processes across EuropeMap current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose standardization opportunities Develop clear guidelines and best‑practice documentation Present recommendations and outcomes to the Finance Director and broader finance team Required Qualifications Recent graduate with a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Strong analytical skills with solid Excel proficiency Good understanding of financial and accounting principles Fluent English (written and spoken) Self‑starter with the ability to manage priorities and work independently Preferred Qualifications Prior internship experience in finance or accounting Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) What You’ll Gain Practical experience in European commercial finance within a global organization Ownership of a high‑impact process improvement project Direct mentorship from senior finance leaders Insight into the life sciences industry and European commercial operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
