Process Technologist & Mathematical models - Junior Develop electrical arc furnace (EAF) process control models and technological packages Develop secondary metallurgy (Ladle furnace) process control models and technological packages Perform process data analysis and apply statistical models to the process control Interact with Danieli Tech Team to update the technological packages according the latest Danieli technologies Follow during commission or hot start-up the performances of the technological packages Master degree required. Preferred areas: Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics Good knowledge of mathematical and physical modeling of processes Soft Skills Interest in developing models applied to the steel industry Knowledge of statistical models and of database systems Knowledge of programming languages C++, C# and Python Interest in innovative technologies, including solutions based on AI models Good fluency in written and spoken English Availability for short national and world-wide business trips Knowledge, even academic, of steelmaking processes and/or experience, even limited, in modeling or simulation activities is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
