We offer you a motivating environment with exciting projects and would appreciate to welcome you in our team as a: MATERIALS APPLICATION ENGINEER - PRODUCTION SUPPORT - AVIATION DOMAIN The selected resource, assigned to a well-structured Engineering Support office dealing with Aero Gearboxes domain, will be in charge for activities related to production support and R&D. Specifically, the selected resource shall contribute to validation of materials and processes, definition of technical specifications and failure analysis/investigation on damaged and/or non-conforming components, partnering with other Departments (i. e. Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain etc. ) Materials/Nanotechnology/ Engineering Master's Degree or similar background; Broad knowledge about metallic materials and experience on characterization tests; Laboratory operations experience (knowledge of procedures, equipment, etc.); Proficiency in English; Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); Knowledge about coating/surface treatments processes would be advantageous, but not mandatory. Due to the nature of work, candidates should be Italian Citizens.
