You’ll be supporting three wonderful adults who have shared a happy home together in Doddington for over 20 years. They love getting out and about in the community and enjoy activities such as discos, swimming, bowling, meals out, seaside trips and countryside walks. Regular holidays and fun days out are a big part of what makes life enjoyable for them. Each person has their own mobility vehicle, making it easy to get around and discover new experiences together. You’ll be joining a small, friendly team that’s passionate about providing person‑centred support and helping each individual live life to the fullest. As a support worker you’ll be there to lend a helping hand in a way that puts the person’s needs first, this means: Adapt your support to fit what each person needs and wants daily. Support people to be a part of their community, joining local clubs and connecting with friends and family. Be understanding, allowing people to take their time and do things at their own pace.
