Job title: Principal Engineer – Client Platform (React Native) - Milan Location: Milan (3 days onsite) Employment type: Permanent We’re currently partnering with a global fintech company looking for a Principal Engineer to join their Client Platform team with a strong focus on React Native and mobile platform architecture. This role is focused on improving scalability, tooling, architecture, and CI/CD across a large mobile app ecosystem. You’ll work on core platform capabilities used across multiple teams, helping improve developer experience, performance, stability, and long-term maintainability. Key responsibilities: - Own and evolve core parts of the React Native client platform - Lead large-scale technical initiatives across mobile platform and frontend infrastructure - Improve tooling, CI/CD, app architecture, scalability, and developer experience - Work closely with JavaScript/TypeScript, frontend build tooling, and native iOS/Android integrations - Mentor engineers and help drive technical best practices across teams Key skills: - Strong React Native experience - JavaScript & TypeScript - React Native internals - Frontend build tooling (Babel / Metro / Webpack) - CI/CD pipelines - Experience working on large-scale mobile applications - Collaboration with iOS & Android teams - Platform/infrastructure-focused mindset - AWS fundamentals - Node.Js / Express exposure If you’re interested in learning more, please apply or send across your CV.
