We are recruiting Doctoral Researcher 14 / Doctoral Candidate 14 at the University of Rome Tor Vergata within the EU-funded MSCA Doctoral Network INTRABRAIN. The position will be based in the Tor Vergata Medical Physics group, led by Prof. Nicola Toschi. This project focuses on the development of AI-driven multimodal imaging frameworks for the integrated analysis of tumour biology and therapeutic response in glioblastoma. The candidate will develop computational pipelines combining advanced MRI, PET imaging, optical fluorescence imaging and spatial biology approaches, including multiplex immunofluorescence. The project will also involve advanced AI models for multimodal data integration, potentially including physics-informed neural networks, multitask learning and transformer-based architectures. We are looking for candidates with a background in medical physics, biomedical engineering, computer science, data science, applied mathematics, physics, bioengineering, computational biology, neuroscience or related quantitative fields. Strong programming skills and experience in machine learning, image processing, biomedical imaging, medical image analysis or quantitative modelling will be especially relevant.
