JOB SUMMARY: The Worldwide Demand Planning position is a key role for an enthusiastic self-starter with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems. Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity. Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding business needs for volume/revenue, targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and goals, and managing supply and demand within the Worldwide Supply Chain. This position requires a global, customer focused mindset and an ability to work across functional boundaries while driving change and improvement. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with Regional Supply Chain Planning, Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics and Finance to coordinate WW S&OP process and support D&OP process. Manage WW demand and inventory plans and provide necessary reporting of sales and inventory performance against plan. Monitor forecast performance and utilize root cause analysis to identify data and process improvement opportunities. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities between forecast and plan to trigger gap closure activities. Drive inventory and cycle time improvements, raise issues to manufacturing sites, regional and worldwide management teams. Proactively manage material availability issues that impact sales volume with regional and worldwide management teams. Support new product launches, portfolio rationalization, discontinuances and source of supply changes. Reconcile aggregate and item level plans as needed. Drive strategies and improvements to aggregate and item level planning processes. Support Annual Strategic Reviews and Annual Operating Plan Development. Maintain, monitor Master Data; revise essential system planning data to ensure SAP system is effectively planning future requirements. Participate in and lead cross-functional project teams to develop best-in-class planning processes. Support processes and monitor SMI, IVA, Write-offs and the Quarterly Reserve Process. REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 3/5 years of demonstrated ability to work with global business partners understanding cultural, business and economic differences of the various regions. Minimum BS, Supply Chain and Logistics or similar degree/experience. Knowledge of supply chain processes required; demand management, supply management, capacity planning, materials management, and inventory management including components of inventory. Proven ability to work and influence outcomes in a matrix environment. Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP. Excellent analytical skills. Effective communication/presentation skills - written and verbal with all levels of the organization Emphasize results not effort, goal oriented. Advocate/leader for supply chain excellence. Influential Leadership - ability to lead cross-functional teams. Lean, Six Sigma, Black-belt expertise desired.
