Purpose of the position: As Field Joint Coating Supervisor, you will respond to the Field Joint Coating technology Engineer and be part of the Abser Business line within Pipeline Technology Field Joint Coating Department. You will manage and support Field Joint Coating Applicatiors. How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities: Installation and operation of the field joint coating equipment in Saipem’s facility in Romania, onboard the pipe lay vessels in the world and various onshore sites in the world Coordination of the field joint coating team composed of Wrappers and Helpers in Saipem’s facility in Romania, onboard the pipe lay vessels in the world and various onshore sites in the world Performance of the field joint coating Pre-Qualification Tests in Saipem’s facility in Romania Performance of the field joint coating Pre-Production Tests onboard the pipe lay vessels in the world and various onshore sites in the world Blast cleaning and application of the field joint coating materials and pipe coating repair materials in Saipem’s facility in Romania, onboard the pipe lay vessels in the world and various onshore sites in the world Assistance to the Field Joint Coating Technology Engineer, Coating and Painting Engineer and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Representative at the work sites Preparation of various technical documents and reports pertinent to field joint coating and pipe coating repair activities on work site when requested What are we looking for? Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical or Elecrical or Eletronics High school diploma Experience: At least minimum previous work experience in painting, pipe coating or field joint coating works Technical Skills: Skilled with manual tools and electrical hand tools IT Skills: Windows, MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint), MS Teams, MS Outlook What else should you know?
