Role Title Engineering Senior Specialist – Customer Application Engineering Responsibilities Leading the preparation and management of technical proposals relevant to Reciprocating Compressor applications, ensuring a critical approach to maximize the value proposition for the customer. Defining the technical strategy of the project and influencing the customer toward Baker Hughes solutions. Estimating and ensuring the accuracy of the budget associated with the proposed solution. Preparing the most compelling technical proposal within the required timeline for first submission. Applying product and quality policies, addressing and mitigating any residual risk as per Baker Hughes procedures. Leading technical negotiations, coordinating with supporting functions, and attending meetings or presentations with the customer. Handing over the technical contract to the execution team upon award in the smoothest way possible. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. At least 5 years of experience in Engineering, Application Engineering, Product management, Customer Service, or an equivalent technical role. Fluency in English (spoken and written) with strong communication skills. Willingness to work on stretched deadlines with flexible time management. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously with solid time management. Availability to travel on short notice. Effective problem‑identification and solution skills. Ability to work in a team and make independent decisions. Openness to work in multicultural teams and an open‑mind approach.
