Market Intelligence & Strategic Positioning Specialist For a multinational aerospace company, we are looking for a Market Intelligence & Strategic Positioning Specialist to drive the development of market insights and competitive analysis, supporting executive-level strategic decisions. The role is a key integrator between data, strategic planning and product development, delivering a forward‑looking view of market evolution across the global helicopter industry and adjacent emerging domains. Responsibilities The position serves as a strategic interface across functions, aligning internal stakeholders and fostering dialogue with external ecosystem players. Activities Curate and synthesize insights from external sources and industry intelligence, contributing to the development and evolution of business intelligence tools. Analyze and interpret competitor performance and strategic moves, contributing to regular reporting and forward‑looking assessments. Ensure quality, consistency, and accessibility of market data, ensuring accurate and timely sharing of key information across the organization. Conduct and structure market research on global trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, translating findings into actionable insights. Contribute to the development and refinement of mid‑long term demand forecasting models for helicopters (civil/parapublic and military) and emerging platforms. Support the assessment of market evolution, providing key inputs to strategic initiatives and business opportunities. Requirements Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics or other STEM disciplines (MBA is a plus). 5–8+ years of experience in market intelligence, strategy or business analysis in complex/industrial environments (aerospace is a strong plus). Strong expertise in market modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis. Ability to synthesize large datasets into clear strategic narratives and connect market insights to business implications and decisions. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Python, Power BI or similar tools is a plus. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with exposure to senior leadership. Ability to operate in cross‑functional and international environments. Good written and spoken English communication skills (B2 or above). Experience coordinating cross‑geography teams, ensuring alignment and integration across regional activities.
