RESPONSIBILITIE The Construction Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Scout, evaluate and manage construction and general contractors (GCOs), supporting partner mapping, qualification and tendering activities in collaboration with Procurement, Business Development and Techsales teams. Lead and coordinate GCO tendering processes, including preparation and management of subcontractor tender packages in line with global and local standards. Prepare, review and validate technical, commercial and contractual documentation, ensuring completeness, quality and timely submission. Estimate construction and installation budgets and support technical and commercial evaluations during bidding phases. Identify, assess and mitigate construction-related risks during tendering and execution, maintaining updated risk registers and sharing key risks at global level. Prepare technical evaluation analyses, ensuring alignment with customer contracts and minimizing deviations, risks and criticalities. Support the preparation and negotiation of contracts with GCOs and customers, working closely with Legal, Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure a back-to-back, risk-minimized approach. Conduct site visits, site surveys and preliminary construction activities during the tendering phase. Define construction and installation schedules, integrating contractor inputs and aligning with the overall project master schedule. Ensure a smooth handover from tendering to execution, supporting Project Managers and Site Managers during execution, including claims and variation management. Coordinate remotely with Site Managers during execution and, when required, act as on-site Site Manager within the EMEA region. Drive continuous improvement of construction management processes, reporting metrics and best practices. Ensure full integration of HSE procedures, promoting a strong safety culture across contractors and subcontractors. Act as a key interface with internal teams, clients and third parties, providing regular updates and reports throughout tendering and execution phases. REQUIREMENTS Education & Experience Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management or similar roles. Proven experience in multidisciplinary and medium/large-scale energy or electrical projects, including on-site activities. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of international standards, EPC contracts and project management principles. Experience in negotiating complex construction contracts and managing major procurement processes. Solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements and risk mitigation practices.
