Deck Engineering CoordinatorLocation: Assago, ItalyStart Date: ImmediateContract Duration: August 2027Schedule: 5 Days per Week / 8 Hours per DayContract Type: Long-Term Contract / ConsultancyWe are currently supporting a major international energy project and are looking to speak with experienced Deck Engineering Coordinators for a long-term opportunity supporting offshore oil & gas facilities and topside deck installation activities.Responsibilities: - Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation disciplines - Review and consolidate engineering deliverables including GA drawings, lifting studies, clash reports and 3D models - Ensure compliance with client specifications, class requirements and international industry standards - Coordinate deck load-out planning including grillage, seafastening, lifting interfaces and temporary works - Interface with construction, marine, hook-up and commissioning teams to support offshore installation activities - Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and fabrication yards relating to deck systems and equipment - Review constructability, transport and offshore installation methodologies for deck modules - Support fabrication activities and resolve technical queries and NCRs alongside discipline engineers - Assist with engineering schedules, progress reporting, installation procedures and as-built documentationRequirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline - Minimum 8 years’ experience within offshore oil & gas, EPC or marine projects - Strong understanding of topside deck engineering, fabrication and installation activities - Experience with offshore lifting, marine operations and construction sequencing - Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, STAAD Pro or related engineering software - Strong coordination and multidisciplinary interface management skills - Fluent English requiredContract Options Available: - Payroll / local employment arrangement - Independent consultant / self-employed setupIf interested, please apply or contact directly for further information.
